Anne Marks
Anne has 15 years experience working in diabetes in both public and and private practice. Her qualifications include: Master of nursing (Nurse Practitioner), Bachelor of nursing (Honours), Graduate certificates in Diabetes, Child and family health and Cardiac nursing. She is a lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Western Sydney University and works in a private diabetes practice focusing on type 1 diabetes. She is a PhD candidate, researching insulin therapy in primary schools and has published a number of articles in peer reviewed journals. Anne received the JDRF Diabetes Educator of the Year award in 2011 and is a current member of The Australian Diabetes Educator editorial advisory group.
